A big gap was when the Wii was outselling the PS3 by 2,3 or 4 to 1 (I think it got to even 5 to 1). Frankly none of the consoles are selling very well in Japan. But at least the Wii has a higher userbase and lots of room for a price cut so it's not as worrying as in PS3's case.

 

I predicted it to be within 500 consoles. Only a big gap for my prediction.
