it is one of the acceptable ways to judge gaming/art
there is a whole field of study for who determines what is and is not quality. I took a fascinating class years ago the philosophy of art where we basically spent the whole semester arguing using different lines of thought as to what can be art and cant be, and who has the power to make these decisions.
does the artist/ the critic/ the public/ the individual viewing it make it art or can they make it not art.
these lists are just as valid or invalid as you let them be to you.
