Media Create - Separating sales. Anyone else thing its stupid?

I do not agree with seperating the DS for Ds lite, but the DSI is a different beast from the DS with functionality not in the DS 

 

here is where i break it down, every 360 model is cabable of playing any game that came out, they may need a periferal to do so thats fine.. (the HD is a peripheral )

 

same with the with the PS3 it can play any game made for the PS3

 

the same for any game made for the wii

 

or the psp ...... yes i know in some cases the video get fd up on newer units

cube,  and the xbox were the same way

 

 

the DSi is not the same it has games that can not in anyway shape or form be played on the ds/dslite and there is  o peripheral to fix this 

 

only the ps2 on a few set of sub models has this occurred before and normally not an intended change caused the incompatabiity but rather a mother board redesign (there were lots of them) that was not properly tested before being pushed out. see   SCPH-75001 and SCPH-75002
