@Euphoria: None of the games released that caused the PS3 to raise in sales were games made by Sony. Neither Sony nor Nintendo released any games so far this year that could move hardware. It was 3rd parties with RE5, Yakuza 3, SF4, Musou Orochi Z and FFXIII Demo that helped the PS3. Wii got crapped on by 3rd parties and that added to Nintendo not releasing a single meaningful game since last November made Wii lose a lot of momentum.
If both platforms would have received equal amount of big games, do you think PS3 would still be ahead of the Wii? I don't think so, because PS3 is only 10k units ahead of the Wii this year. And the Wii hasn't received anything worth buying since last year.
I agree though that Wii may never reach the level of sales it had before as momentum and popularity of the system has gone way down, but it's 100% sure that Wii will beat PS3 in sales again once third parties stop taking a dump on it and once Nintendo stops believing that 1 good game can carry sales for over a year.
