| Gearbox said: if it is a wii exclusive? - i no a lot might disagree with this but i dont think it would sell to well. look at 3rd party success.. maybe if they advertise it like crazy then i could c it sell like 5 million at most if it is 360 exclusive? - wouldnt sell that great.. maybe 1 to 2 million if it is a ps360 exclsuive? - obviosuly the best choice, would sell like 8 - 9 million! what console do u want it to go on? I'd prefer a ps3 exlcusive that way, they could make it look so much better and do amazing cut scenes, like the quality of the intro and outtro cutscenes. (i dont think u can do that on a 360 but only because of size constraints on the disk) |
Your post makes no sense.
First you say that a game that will sell 5m and is cheaper to make is a better option than a game that will sell 6m tops and is a lot more expensive to make. Even with marketing, it should still be cheaper or even for the Wii. Also, the 3rd party games don't sell argument is really lame. Looking at Tales of series since it is a action RPG, Symphonia:DoTNW sold better on Wii than Vesperia on 360 in all regions released so far. On top of that Vesperia was supposed to be the significantly better game. Overall Wii is obviously capable of selling games from any publisher, but they must be good and mainstream.
Secondly, you state that it will sell 4-6m on PS3 alone, and 1-2m on X360 alone. But somehow you have 8-9m on both combined. If we just combined your original numbers we would get 5-8m. So where does this extra confidence in high sales come from? X360 owners just buy the game so their system sells more copies than the PS3 version?
