Wii sales are declining drastically. Here are the sales from January 08 to June 08.

You can see 3 weeks when the Wii went over 500k, even one where it reached 750k. It was clear that it was demand based, being demand higher than supply, and added to that Wii Fit and MKWii along with SSBB had just been released.
Now for the period of January 09 to April 09, things are changing.

While the first months were heavily in favour of Wii in 09, mostly due to a much higher supply, the Wii is deeply falling. There's no upcoming SW release comparable to SSBB, Wii Fit or MKWii that could manage such a boost. Adding that to the terrible situation of the Wii in Japan, it's really improbable that the Wii could be up YoY. Wii Fit and MKWii's releases in 08 will take all the lead gained by the Wii in 09, so that by the end of the 1st half, Wii will be down YoY by a million or so.
