See above. It'll only be a huge boost in Japan.

Yes, it will. And in Japan, it will move tons of hardware.

6. UnCharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank will sell very well and move PS3 hardware in 2009.
No they won't. Uncharted sold very well and Tools of Destruction pretty respectably, but neither moved hardware. They're both awesome, though.

7. God of War 3 and many more games for PS3.
It'll move a bit of hardware. Think Killzone 2 levels, but a little bit higher.

I believe PS3 should be able to outsell XBox 360 in worldwide console sales for 2009.
I think so too, but that's only because of the first reason.

And I think it's pretty obvious that the PS3 is going to beat the 360 in Japan. This year and every year until it is discontinued in 2016 (or so Sony says.)

It won't reach the Wii in Japan, though. There's still a 5 million console gap. If the Wii stopped being produced today, and the PS3 sold 50k every week, it would take 100 weeks, or just under two years, to catch up. However, the Wii isn't going to be cancelled any time soon. With an average 10k gap per week, it would take 500 weeks, or just under ten years, for the PS3 to overtake the Wii in Japan. Not happening.
