and looking at the video again...it was the third time when he got out the baton... first he tried pushing her away, then he hit her, then he got out the baton.   clear and proportionate escalation.  why she keep wanting to get close to him?? maybe she has a knife...maybe she has a bomb on her...who knows.

consider this, it is your dislike of protestors that is clouding your judgement

 

 

you could say i dislike agressive, violent, and racist protesters ... and then you would be right.  however, you would have no reason to say that it has clouded my judgement...the guy was in their way and the woman continued to get right up to him when he is swarmed by other people as well(you can see him pushing at other people outside the view of the camera(interesting the camera moved away from them...in all likelyhood that event was staged for the camera).  You claimed he was beaten, when he wasnt...demonstrating your separation from the reality of the incident.  i would say you might be able to argue that the officer used more force than required on the man...but since you are in your own reality, it would be pointless.
