It is a simple exploit in the website code. The user simply thinks that exploiting code leads to it being fixed. This is the same argument that virus writers use when they write a virus (there are a few other "reasons" for writing viruses but whatever). Sadly, it is the stupidest reasoning I've ever heard. Point it out, show how you would exploit it, and then move on and leave the fix up to them. If they decide not to fix it, it is their own problem and it doesn't mean you should exploit it anyways.
As for having added the games, it irritates me, as I think "oh someone owns this awesome game that I did" and then it turns out it is the same person who doesn't own the game.
