Mine prevents disappointments, you are on the other hand always setting yourself up for a disappointment when predicting 100% of Nintendo's teams are working on huge AAA secret projects for the Wii that will be unveiled at E3.
As for NoA, they are a completely new company, their policies and practices are totally different from the NoA of the GC era, so that's not a valid comparison at all. And still if they make it here, it would be by luck, seeing as they hold the publishing rights and own the IP's for some cases.
Along with the Wii and the DS came the biggest % of games that never got localized in the USA, going backwards in time most of the games always saw an American release.
