The Wii is in trouble until Q3, so this is very old news. Everyone knows this will be the worst year of the Wii in Japan, considering no one, not even Nintendo is releasing new SW to manage a change.

Plus the Hardcore audience isnt present as there hasnt been any big hardcore game so far, so all the new IPs or small hardcore games tend to bomb terribly. Time for Nintendo to take a risk and release at least a new game, not releasing new games in a period of 7 - 8 months is very bad. Trace Memory R isnt even considered a SW mover so, why release only that since last November? It's Aprol so far and there's nothing planned until the 26th of May with another small niche insignificant unhyped game like Takt of Magic.

And third parties are taking a dump on the Wi lately. It's been all ports, remakes, casual stuff or new small IP's, that won't sell because of the lack of a core fanbase. It's mainly Nintendo's duty to incentive core gamers into buying a Wii. But they don't seem to care atm. Hope this doesnt translate to the rest of the World.
