That's a really rough guess as to when the next gen is starting.
Look at it this way, the Wii is tracking sales at a way faster pace than the PS2 did, so what makes you think it won't outsell the PS2? Also, sales of the PS2 didn't magically die off when this gen started, so I don't see why the Wii should die off right when the next gen starts, as you seem to have implied.
Do you have any real reasons behind your statement?
