Given that the videogame market is fragmenting, and that the global financial crisis continues unabated...I figure the Wii gen probably comes out ahead in early 2011, with Wii pulling ahead of the PS2 in late 2013.

I think the source is about right. Over some time the PS3 will outesll the 360. If you look at sales trends for the 360 and Ps3, you can not ignore the fact that the PS3 is competing and falling short by small amounts every week but the PS3 is at a higher price. Also whenever the new xbox is released there might be a drop in support for the 360 like what happend to the original xbox.
