Make all the regions available to travel to (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh)
Ability to capture all the Pokemon in the game's universe, no trading, transferring, et cetera
Radio Stations (like GSC) and/or the ability to stream radio through the game via WiFi
Trainer battles should have pokemon with levels comparable to yours so you can't go through the game at level 100 and kill everything, if you have level 50 pokemon, theirs would be 45-52 stuff like that.
3D world based in the style of the anime so a city is ya know, an actual city. Every city should have a variety of things too do.
Bring back the night/day thing with the days of the week to: Sunday-Saturday and have different events you can do in different cities on different days.
There is probably more but I am too lazy to think about it.
