It's an interesting technology, but right now, I really don't think it's worth it. IMO, Wii Fit is just bollocks (I don't want to offend anyone with this, it's just my opinion). It worked okay in Shawn White but the game wasn't really good to begin with. Given to some skilled developpers, they could manage to do something great with it, but right now, it looks like a gimmick to me.

That's why it came up on GDC. Let's see if someone comes up with some interesting concepts, WiiWare is not high risk an ideal for this kind of thing.

There are a handful of games already that have used the balance board.
Shaun White Snowboarding - 1.03m - has gone on to be the game #1 game for the balance board. Anyone who has one and doesn't have this game is really missing out.

What is wrong in asking more ideas than the examples shown in WiiFit? The Ski/Snowboard concept that has already been expanded in both We Ski(1.3M)/Shaun White(1M). You also have Skate it, Wii Music, Equilibrio (WW) trying different uses of it. I'd love to see more.

absolutely nothing. I was just pointing out that there are games (some people claim there are none). In WW there is Tetris Party which uses the Balance Board too. I'm just saying some developers are already thinking of what to do with the Balance Board, and I agree more and varied games are always welcome.
