well, since you were playing a PS3 before, it'll take a short while to get used to the graphics difference. Also, the bigger the TV, the worse the Wii looks unless you move father away.
Personally, I think it looks fine on my 32" and my parents 54" tv's, however if I play right after playing on my PS3, it makes me think it looks pretty bad.
