you could group them all and press the (right trigger maybe) and it cycles through what you have selected.  and it will move or attack with just those.

There is certainly no equivalent of Ctrl + Click

 

perhaps...but it also automatically groups units...  like if you seperate units into 2 groups you can switch between them with the right dpad button, and i thought that was neat.

 

edit...actually...are you sure about that?  i tried the demo out last week, but i think i was able to do the equivalent of that.
