shams you say lets be fair but then you say the game was made to appeal to the japanese. you say lets be fair but then you say its high budget. |
It seems the Japanese don't like Hack'n'Slash games as much as we would think.
It is expected, because a much more famous game from a more famous developer only sold 27k on it's first week in Japan. I'm of course talking about Ninja Gaiden II. Why should anybody expect higher FW sales for Ninja Blade ?
Eternal Sonata for the Xbox 360 almost doubled NGII's sales, so we come to a wide known conclusion:
RPGs are more famous in Japan than Hack'n'Slash games !!!!!
ZOMG who would have thought this ???? *rolleyes*

you think this game is eternal sonata type appeal oh lordie me please tell me you were just trying to make your your arguement sound better and you dont really believe demons soul is comparable to eternal sonata. also didnt ninja blade get higher review scores? no matter how you want to spin this demons soul doesnt have as much japanese appeal as youd like it to have

It's a f*cking RPG of course it has more sales than a Hack'n'Slash on a console with 1/3 the userbase.
Breaking 7k sales on a system with 2.85 million owners IS expected. No matter if a RPG is unknown, extremly westernized or even bad.
