It wouldnt make financial sense for Activision to pass up more sales on a franchise. COD:WAW Wii is at 600,000k now after a few months. Why wouldnt they want to make more money if the COD4 engine was ported to the Wii?

I would die if COD:MW2 didnt come out for my Wii.

If rumor is remotely true, another option would be for Treyarch to do the port.

I am gonna wait for more info directly from the publisher.

I was thinking about that as well: why not let Treyarch do the Wii version if IW isn't willing to work around the restrictions?

To be honest, I'm not that certain this whole statement is true. It's just something I heard, but I don't know the guy very well, so it could still be bullshit. I guess we have to wait for an official statement.

I don't think that would work.  The way I understand it, IW started working on MW2 as soon as they finished MW1, and Treyarch started working on their next COD as soon as they finished WAW.

One way or another, I think we will see MW2 on the Wii.
