The DS, unlike the Wii, had great support from the start. The PSP had anything more than ports and remakes it's entire life time. For that, it recieved far more hate and bashing than the DS ever did. The PSP had to put up with way more shit than DS ever did.

everyone, and I mean everyone said the DS was a fad, that two screen would never work, the touchpad was a joke, etc.... When the PSP was coming out, everyone was claiming Nintendo's dominance in the handheld market was over.
Maybe you lived in NintendoFanboy heaven, but it wasn't at all like you are saying.
