Also this isn't a mere-spinoff....it has every "important" tales character in the game. FFD did better than other PSP FFs......because of fanservice.

 

Well, Namco localised the first one, and that was when the PSP userbase was much, much lower - wvweywhere. I'd say there's a good chance this one will be coming to the West sometime in 2009...

I said above, the first one bombed in the west, it is no longer even made here, Namco USA rarely tries again. (I mean seriously the USA branch can be a bunch of smart business people, but they will never cater to the fans.)
