You do realize that those militants could have just as easily forced their way into the compound without the UN allowing them to do so there.

Also there's still the matter of the warehouse fires.

ok...?  if they take over/hide out/use as storage/etc  a UN compound/warehouse/outpost/offices/etc  then its a valid target.

when things get hit by bombs there is a chance of fire.  if your making some comment about white phosphorous... the ICRC said it hasnt been used inappropriately, so ill stick with that at the moment.
