How much of a boost would Wii give Resident Evil 5?

You're putting words in my mouth. The PS2 had plenty of disappointments. IMO, RE4 was one of them. Just over 2 million sales, I would expect more for such a great game.

But for the Wii to sell 1 million copies of RE4, which many people claim is one of the best games on Wii, when there are frankly inferior games like Wii Play that have sold 20 million copies, is a disappointment. Why would the Wii sell 4 million copies of RE5? The Umbrella Chronicles and RE4 sold around a million on Wii.

All I'm saying is that implementing motion sensing and redesigning everything is not worth the million sales tops that they'll get from the Wii.

Okay, maybe it isn't.
