You have a point, but some of us don't want to get spoiled by the game before we actually play it. Yeah, I haven't played the original, so I don't want to go reading through that thread and ruin the experience for myself! As of so far, this thread is 100% spoiler free. Now that I think of it, I can see how this thread could turn into a bit of a spoiler pile, but given the nature of his question, and how not much of the basics have really changed in FE, I doubt we'd get particular game spoilers in here, whereas your thread seems more like a free-for-all.
