Actually, Nintendo makes more money by investing the money they earned from those games and making new ones. I don't understand why anyone would think that Nintendo is just sitting around raking in the cash. Why would they have >3000 employees who are sitting around doing nothing?????????

I've tried to convince my company to let us sit around in a pool, and to blow the few 100m they have in the bank, but no one will listen to me. Maybe I should tell them to copy Nintendo's work model of swiming in cash. It definitely boosts moral
