oh ok. that makes sense. I was just a bit worried by this: * Consumer Return Policy: Enclosed in each package will be an Xbox LIVE Marketplace token. This token will have a tear off strip that reveals a unique code to download the content over the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Once this code has been exposed, the downloadable content has been potentially accessed and can no longer be accepted for return.
But if thats normal and not a potential EA-like Draconian anti-piracy thing then cool |
thats about returning it to the store. you really cant expect a store to accept open codes, when they have no way of verifying if it was used. should someone have an issue with a code, they would contact Microsoft.
downloaded content is registered to the account and the console. you can download the content an infinite amount of times to an account. registering to a console prevents people sharing an account across multiple consoles, as only 1 can be active at a time. the content could be used on a second console when the account is online(should you be visiting someone etc). should you purchase another console you can transfer the thing to that console, which can be done once every year, which will allow you to access the content while offline.
