You'll never catch up unless you start betting as much as you can. PDF has 99% of his VG$ invested in the prediction league, while you only have ~50% in there. You actually have more money than him (but that may change after his next payout), so it should be doable, you just need to be more agressive.
While I may only have 42% of my money in the league, I still have way more than anyone else in there. Currently I average $5600 over the three rounds yet to be payed out.
EDIT: I do realize the max you could have bet at this current time is only another 1k over what you currently have since the payments just came in, but that is still 1k that went unbet this last week.
