So, your plan is to buy a used mic and "pirate" the Wii Speak channel, is that it?  Don't you think there will be some sort of verification process when signing on to the service?

I don't really have a plan, I was just saying how you could work around this. And verification process I don't know about, but those have never really been an issue, have they.

All that was being suggested is that your solution won't be very useful to the vast majority of Wii users as they don't use homebrew, let alone the chances of being able to find a used mic when stores that stock pre-owned merchandise will likely refuse to take them at all.  So the problem (if it is to be described as that) remains largely the same.
