wow paul, thats the first thing youve posted that i can believe. though, at the rate things are going, that might not be till 2010. outside of that, i dont think any one game will tip the scales. Im still waiting for ms to do something about that, i would not be surprised if ms found the right price to get it on the 360, but only 6 months latter, when ever it came out in the rest of the world. its seems very strange to keep a game exclusive in one region, though i do understand the wofull number of 360 owners there hurts alot.
outside of japan however i do not see FFXIII moving that many consoles for either side, as by the time it comes out most people will have one that would play this game, so i give each console a 20% bump at most with slightly more benifit going to the ps3 on average because of legacy.
I still think people are pushing GT5 too much as a system seller, yes the game will be big, but it comes late, and after prolog, if prolog had not come out id be more sold on the idea, but people who would buy the console for gt already got it for prolog.
versus could still become cross platform, its a ways off 2010-11 in japan 2011-12 in the rest of the world
killzone 2, if that does not push 1 million in the first week, it will be tough to justify a 3rd installment. its release date is very odd for a high profile game it will be interesting to see how it is recived.
is there a release date for GoW III yet? also i gotta say after looking at 2 sales, thats going to be on a downward slide unless bundled.
WKC is up in the air for how it will do, rpgs have been hot or miss this gen, very strange...
