Let's clear this up! What do Sony fans expect LBP to sell?

VGC homepage has LBP first week sales for LBP as 164,000. The same week that Fable 2 did 705,000

Going by this as I said many times before it's all forum internet hype and is very niche market.

I expect possibly 1.3 mill by Dec 31st (that could be generous) and maybe possibly 2.4 mill LT.

I doubt you were able to find any copies of Little Big Planet at these stores on or before 10/25.  The 164k number is mainly people that were able to pick up their preorders late in the day on 10/25.  The Gamestop I preordered from would only fill preorders on 10/25. 

Including the 10/25 data I project 500k in NA, 75k in Japan, and 750k in Others for week 0 + week 1.  Not bad for a team of 30 developers.

 

 

i bought  a copy of lbp and resold it from my local walmart, made the money off of it to buy both fable 2, and dead space (they refused to sell me fable till 8 am ) we  talked about this in another thread 

edit, on top of that i showed the manager the recall with my phones internet, i was pissed because i had been waiting in line with other fable guys for almost an hour before they siad its not coming till 8am since they could not figure out how to sell it.....

with lbp i took it over to a game stop and sold it to some guy who was pissed he couldnt get lbp on that day
