Not true. I mean...yeah, if I got a free PS3, or one for $100, maybe even $200...why not.

The price of the console is a fact though, and you can't just say, hypothetically, if console A was super cheap, you'd all buy it. Because the world doesn't work like that.

 Not to mention, the PS3 is $200 away from such a price cut, since the  $500 price point is being used to clear out stock of the 60 gig, for a new, more expensive model.

 A price cut is only going to make a difference if it happens soon. "PS3 dominating in 2009" is nonsense. 

 

I agree it is nonsence, the price point of $399.99 will move alot of ps3's maybe making them sell out, the ps3 is harder to make than the wii so I dont think the ps3 can outsell it if the wii doesnt drop in sales at a rate of 100k.
