| selnor said: People all need to remember that the credit crunch is actually going to massively affect sales. Woolworths have now gone into liquidation due to the crunch and so has the company Miss Sixty. It's worse than tou think. I think in america at least Sony will drop the price not nessacerily because of M$ but because mums and dads at Christmas just flat out wont be able to afford it. |
this certienly is the strangest credit crunch ever, out here where i live, our local economy is still tearing up in overdrive with construction and purchasing. it seems to be more regional limited and to companies that were already in the shitter aka woolworths, who ive only ever seen closing stores, never seen them open a new one. ive heard of miss sixty, but have no idea what it is, might have been in a paper i read.
ill go further to say this has been an overblown event by the media, unless you had over 100,000 in a failed bank you are fine, this os no great depression yet.
honestly id like to see how many people on here in the states are truely having their pay cut, or having laons and credit refused to them. this does not count a person closing out cards, because they finally figured out that 29.9% rate is bad for them, and paidthe card off
