the psp has no chance. by the time sony gets all the peripherals ready for multimedia some apple product would have overwhelmed the market. the DS--my wife and i have 1 each. by now brain age is the only game that i play on it... and i won't care for any other games, not even animal crossing or nintendogs or, when spore comes out. i hope nintendo or some 3rd party comes out with more educational "games", coz that's all i care about on the DS. i imagine for many DS buyers that's the same case. like in japan, you have like "kanji training", "learning english" titles. maybe they can make "learning spanish" or like "SAT training" in the US. even though i'm not in college anymore i'd still try out "SAT training"... i mean, it's almost a perfect fit, i find it surprising nobody's doing it yet. think MGS can help PSP close the gap on DS? dream on. a friend of mine patented an idea he had for classroom learning on the DS. he'll be writing some software soon, hopefully he'll have enough eventually to secure some funding to hire a couple of programmers. the possibilities are endless. the DS is only gonna start selling more, not less.
the Wii is an epidemic.
