MKWii has a huge chance of doing so. It has sold more than 7M copies in 4 months. For comparisons sake, MK:DD sold that amount in more than 4 years. This game is gonna be huge, more than it is right now.
I also think comparing a game in the Racing genre with another one in the Racing genre is completely valid, even if it hurts.
