What's interesting is, that Wild World did more than 50% of it's sales in Japan (where DS has a huge installbase), when in Americas Wild World did practically the same as GC version, despite GC having smaller installbase. But, where the growth can be expected, is in others. Animal Crossing for GC was in the market for 1,5 years, before the DS version came out, so it didn't have time to get "late" sales.

 

8 million, as you said, may very well be accurate. Depending how "transition" between DS gamers and Wii gamers succeeds.

 

Yeah, I think that AC Wii will definitely sell less in Japan than Wild world did, but a lot more in Others. America should be pretty much the same, maybe more.
