I agree, I'm glad nintendo realizes they let down a lot of their fans. To me it doesn't make a difference, so long as they are actually making the games.
I guess part of it for me, is I grew up never knowing what was coming more than 3 months away, because there was no internet to find these things out. You had to go to the game store and flip through a booklet that had release dates for the next couple months, and that was it.
