ioi still adjust numbers all the time, however he may not adjust them to NPD right away. The only truely accurate source is manufacturer shipped numbers, however, then you still have to estimate stock levels. In the past, VGChartz has been closer to shipped numbers than NPD, but that doesn't take into account any adjustments NPD made, while it does for VGChartz. Give it a month and we'll see what happened.

However, with manufacture numbers, you at least know if you're massivly overtracking with 100% accuracy, because you can't have more sold than shipped.
