According to VGChartz 9,929,998 Wii's have been sold as of July 20th, so 10 million+ should be the correct number.
PS3 has sold 5,301,293 YTD
X360 has sold 3,812,999 YTD
DS has sold 12,297,723 YTD
PSP has sold 6,069,261 YTD
PS2 has sold 3,452,225 YTD
X360 is selling on par with PS2 which shows PS2 is still alive and kicking.
Nintendo's consoles have outsold Sony's by a ratio of roughly 2:1 (Wii:PS3 and DS:PSP)
How much could the Wii sell this year? a little more than 5 months remain, I expect at least 25 million Wii's to be sold by the end of the year.
