Still no LBP or motorstorm 2 sales' numbers. What's the matter is sony afraid to show us what "amazing" legs its games have ???

On a similar matter Resistance2 just had the biggest NPD month any sony-published game has had. Congratulations.....

Although Nintendo didn't release total software revenue we can still calculate it:

Total software sales: $1.45B
360 software sales: $408M
Playstation software sales: $352M

Which leaves Nintendo with a total of $690M. Although we don't have a split for Wii and DS it seems very likely Wii had the highest total software revenue in November, I would put it at around 2 third of Nintendo's software revenue in the $450-500M range. Xbox 360 really managed to hold its own here which is impressive when you're being outsold more than 2 to 1 by Wii, so congrats to Microsoft for that. They also managed to outsell the whole Playstation family as far as software revenue goes, which must really be pleasant news at the Microsoft headquarters and disastrous news at Sony's.

Anyways, EPIC NPD! The wii's success is mind-boggling. I wonder if they have enough consoles stashed away to fulfill the prophecy and rack in over 4 million sales in December.

It's been two years of shattering sales history and it has yet to reach the saturation point.

Both the 360's solid numbers and the ps3's lower sales are sort-of interesting as well, but really - november's story is the over two million wii's sold.

The X360 pretty much owned the competition.

The PS3 is dead. Kinda. For now.

Thought of a legit reason for ps3 sales decline, when did their 60gb closeout price reduction start last year? Could explain why their is a drop in sales pre black friday for the unit (since it saw an improvement on BF albeit small).
