The aliasing on the current envelope icons is bothering me, so I re-did them.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, those look better!

Do you think that the quality is close enough to the icons that we already have? Do these blend in?

The ones we already have, as in the ones you made yesterday, or the ones that were there before?

The ones that were there before: The pencils, exclamation mark, and speech bubble.

I mean, do you think these envelopes (the new ones I just made) are close to the pre-existing icons in quality?

Yes, I'd say so.

FINALLY - I've gotten the issue with the icon coloring straightened out. This should be correct site-wide at this point, so if something is still not coloring correctly somewhere, feel free to let me know:

Grey = You've never posted in the thread
Blue = You've been quoted in the thread
Orange = There are new replies since you last posted
Green = No new replies since you last posted

Can we get an additional category for: 'You've read this thread but havent posted'? That was how orangae used to work and I was quite fond of seeing new threads I hadn't been in at all at a glance.

Edit: I'd definitively prefer threads that I've never been in to be distinguished by color as well as icon, from the ones I've read but haven't posted in. I didn't even notice the icon changed, so the change is definitely too subtle to be useful to me. XD

Even two diffrent shades of grey would work if you frefer not going with bright colors, but personally I'd like a matted orange, so that it visually sits between 'new posts since last visit in thread you posted in' and 'Thread you didn't visit and haven't posted in.

That is the new open envelope.  (Also grey)  (unread items is the closed envelope)

See my edit. I didn't even notice the icon change at first, because it is very subtle and I still can't tell at a glance at hot topics what I've visited and what I havent. That's why I think a color distinction, however subtle would be very useful.

Edit: It also seems to not be working properly. There's a thread I've been in, but haven't posted in, that shows (10 new replies) - closed envelope icon.  Not sure what's going on there.

You can also tell by the 0 new... One better option might be to not even display any with 0 new... then it doesn't matter what the icon looks like, and if you already read it, don't need it at the top of the list. That would also encourage reading threads a little older.

Yes, but that still means I have to go through the list, look at every title and reply count or icon, even if the list is literally only topics I've looked at and have no desire to post in.

Before, one glance was enough to single out new topics.

I like the idea of completely read topics with no new entries falling out of the list, though.
