The link I provided says the XB1 was the only 8th gen console up YoY, meaning PS4 is down. Those numbers are from the September 2015 thread.

MS said XBO is the only 8 gen console up YOY, so all we know is PS4 is under 354k and XBO over 293k.

 

Btw Poklane made a typo, it's PS4<354k, not PS4>354k :p

I'm surprised. I thought the PS4 would just edge it but clearly the XB1 just edged it instead.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Nothing to worry about - Amazon had the PS4Pro as the highest selling system in September but will only release in November.

Assuming Microsoft considers the Wii U an 8th gen console, it sold less than 88k.

I would not use the term flop. PS4 slim had 3 weeks of sales while the XB1 had a full 5 weeks of post launch sales. And it sounds like both systems were close.

I figured that XBO would beat PS4. October is probably in the bag too thanks to Gears 4 as well.
