I just went here to say that I can't decide which is better. Perfect Dark, or Xenogears. Someone help!

Listen to your heart.

I'd love to post my top 20 here

20) Super Mario Galaxy 2 - fantastic game that added many great things to the Mario galaxy formula like Yoshi, cloud Mario and rock Mario.

19) Final Fantasy XII - Great sense of exploration, Ivalice feels alive due to its multiple towns and cultures, spent many hours exploring the overworld, overall good characters (though Vaan and Penelo felt tacked on ), the voice acting is REALLY good, good music and I liked the political tone that the story had.

18) Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time - Really fun combat with really fun weapons (just like the other Ratchet games) but what I loved the most about this game was exploring the space, going to the different moons which had really good platforming sections. The Clank parts were also amazing, I loved those puzzles. The story was good and sometimes moving (and humorous)

17) Super Mario 64. This game really impressed me when I first played it, I loved to explore Peach's castle and the worlds (my favorite one is the Wet-Dry world), they were really varied and I loved that you could explore them and mostly you could get the stars in the order you wanted . The atmosphere was great and the soundtrack top-notch (dat Jolly Roger bay theme). Also I loved the caps, my fave is the Wing cap.

16) Super Mario Galaxy. Another one that blowed me away. The level design was so top-notch and creative, the soundtrack was godly and the graphics too . I loved the observatory and Rosalina's story was really moving.

15)Tales of Symphonia. Really liked the combat and the characters (my faves are Raine and Zelos, who is really funny), I found the story interesting with some moving moments and I liked the dungeons a lot because they had some really interesting puzzles (something that later Tales games seem to have abandoned), also the game had many really funny scenes and skits that made me laugh (like Lloyd's wanted poster XD), The soundtrack was good and the art-style charming.

14)Final Fantasy VI. My favorite part of this game is its cast of characters, I liked of all them even Gau, and this game has my favorite villain ever, Kefka, he was so evil yet so funny XD. The story, while relatively simple, had so many moving and memorable moments, and dat soundtrack, Terra's theme is one of my favorite tracks ever.

13)Ni no Kuni. This game was so moving and charming, there was certain scene at the start of the game that legitimately made me cry. The battle system was good enough for me but it has some flaws that could bother some people. I loved the world map, I spent a lot of time exploring it, the towns were really great too and dat soundtrack.

12)The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I loved how in this game the world felt very alive, the NPC's all have their stories and life routines and I spent a lot of time with the sidequests, which were really good especially the one of Kafei and Anju which was really moving, the sountrack is amazing and the dungeons are decent (the Stone Tower temple is fantastic), the story was charminng and really loved atmosphere

11) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This game is great but in a different way than Majora's Mask, where this game shines are the fantastic dungeons, there were a lot of them and they were really good (my favorites are the Arbiter Grounds and Snowpeak ruins), the boss battles were epic and fun and I loved Midna, she was so awesome.Of course the soundtrack is great and I liked the atmosphere in the twilight parts.

10) Final Fantasy X. I loved  this game's story, I found it really interesting and memorable, I liked the characters (my favorites are Auron, Lulu and Yuna). The battle system was really good, while it's turn-based it feels really fast paced, also it was great to be able to switch characters during a battle. I liked the  sphere grid too (even though it starts in a linear way but it opens up a lot later in the game). The music is great.

9) Chrono Trigger. An epic experience, the story was really interesting and I found the characters endearing (my favorites are Frog and Luca), also I loved travelling to the different eras of Crono's world. The battle system is really fun, I like how there aren't random encounters and instead the enemies are visible on the main map,  and the idea of the double and triple techs is awesome. The visuals are amazing and ageless and dat soundtrack, soooooo great.

8) The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. This game is really divisive but personally I loved it. The dungeons are greatly designed (dat Ancient Cistern), they had many brilliant puzzle ideas like the ones involving the Timeshift stones or the flying beetle. The boss battles were awesome, I loved the battles against Ghirahim and Koloktos. The world areas were great too, the Lanayru desert is a masterpiece. Another thing that I loved were the sidequests in Skyloft (the ones that you do to get Gratitude Crystals), they were really interesting.

7) Kid Icarus: Uprising. This game impressed me a lot, I loved the combat and level design in the ground sections (but I liked the flying sections too) , I liked how there were different strategies to beat the enemies and the boss battles were amazing, the weapons fusion system was great too. The story was interesting and I liked the characters a lot (my favorites are Viridi, Pandora and Hades), the dialogues were sooooo good, some of them were really funny, and the visuals are amazing for a 3DS game.

6) Kingdom Hearts. I found this game charming and really memorable, I loved the worlds a lot and liked the platforming, my favorite world is Hollow Bastion, which I'd say is my favorite world from any KH game, I enjoyed the combat too though it's pretty simple compared to the combat in later KH games.  The story was good, so full of heart and charm, and the soundtrack is great.

5) Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. This game is really a blast to play, the battle system is so very well done, aspects like the commmands deck and the commands melding (allows you to gain abilities) are really great, I spent alot of hours just melding and leveling-up commands. Another thing that I liked was that the story wasn't that convoluted and it had many moving moments and I liked to see it from the different perspectives of the three playable characters (Aqua, Ventus, Terra) .Also the Commands Board is really fun to play (it's a board game where you can level-up commands if you don't want to grind)

4) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This game is really great. Firstly, the dungeons are amazing and very well designed (I even liked the Water temple), I loved the atmosphere and music in everyone of them, my favorites are the Forest Temple (my favorite Zelda dungeon ever, dat music) and the Spirit Temple. The boss battles are also great (my favorite is Twinrova) and the soundtrack is fantastic, so many memorable themes. Also this game's pacing is great, it doesn't have long intros or filler fetch quests. The story is simple yet charming.

3) Kingdom Hearts II. This game occupies a special place of my heart mainly because it was the first KH game I played, I still remember the first time I played the Roxas part, it was so moving and nostalgic  and the part where Roxas says that his summer vacation is over almost made me cry. I loved visiting the different Disney worlds even though in this game they were more linear than in KH1. The combat in this game is really  fluid and fun, I love how you can make combos of both magic and physical attacks and I liked the idea of the limits and drive forms a lot.

2) Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. This game is amazing, what I liked the most about it was its world, it was so big and beautiful, I loved exploring it and finding secret areas or hidden treasure chests, the story was relatively simple but it had a lot of charm and memorable moments,  I liked the combat (which is turn-based) and the tension system. The characters are awesome  (my favorites are Angelo and Yangus) and the voice acting is great. The soundtrack of this game is godly, I loved it so much and the game's  cel-shaded art style is beautiful.

1) Xenoblade Chronicles. My favorite game ever, this game's scope is so impressive, I loved how its world was so big and explorable, discovering new areas was  really satisfying (the game even gives you experience points if you discover new areas). The whole concept of travelling across two giant titans is really original. Also I loved how the areas changed visually at night, and the music changed too. I liked the battle system as well as the gems crafting system, which helps you to improve your equipment. I found the story interesting and liked the characters a lot (my favorites are Riki and Dumban). Also its soundtrack is soooooo great, one of my favorites.

Does not help me at all......

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

Yeah, right now I'm pestering users who haven't submitted their final lists. It's my least favorite part, but someone's gotta do it. :

After that I'm going to take all the data and start putting it together to make a complete (and very long) list of games, decided by 1. the positioning of the game on each users' list and 2. how many times the game appears on every gamers' list.

Then after that I need to format it to look good on the forums, and add other lists (games by date, system, series, etc.). Let me know if there's a certain kind of list you want to see.

All in all, I want this to be the best results celebration thread it can be. And that could take some time.

Good luck, Smeags! Compiling that data is no easy task, and we so appreciate all the hard work the made this thread and the results thread possible.

Completed mine. Most on my list from any one console was the PSone with 13 games followed closely by the mighty Dreamcast with 9.

19. Final Fantasy X-2 (PS2) - Will never understand why this game got hate. I'm going with people were insecure about using full cast of girls.
18. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) - I'm not a big fan of Mario platformers, but this was an absolute joy to play.
17. Bioshock (X360) - An moving title with great gameplay and an enthralling story.
16. Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) - I loved it from the moment it started. I'll run through these hallways any day.
15. Tales of Vesperia (X360) - The one and only great Tales game for me. Didn't expect to like it at all when I first played it, but truly captured my attention.
14. Demon's Souls (PS3) - Maiden in Black *Swoons*
13. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP) - Way better than FF7 in every way. The final mission and ending will be something I'll never forget.
12. Final Fantasy XII (PS2) - An epic adventure with a lot of innovation that allowed for a worthy Ivalice successor.
11. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) - About as perfect as a cinematic action game can be. One of the all time best experiences I've played.
10. Persona 4 Golden (PS Vita) - Some of the characters and setting only things stopping this from being higher. Just barely below masterpiece level for me.

I remember accidentally killing her one of the first times I played the game. :[ I was devastated.

You shouldn't. She just keeps coming back :P

9. Nier (PS3) - The most or second most memorable gaming experience for me. Would be highly if not for the technical issues. Truly an impactful game and it has the best OST of all time.

8. Lost Odyssey (X360) - Much like Vesperia, I was skeptical at first. This game blew me away and it's truly one of the hallmark JRPGs. I still will take time to listen to the OST right next to Nier's.

7. Final Fantasy IV (DS) - Just about everything you could ask for in an FF and the redone environments and characters were lovely on the DS.

6. Persona 3 FES (PS2) - My 3rd favorite cast of characters in any game with gameplay that would literally get lost in. Seriously, first day I ended up playing until I blacked at 5am.

5. Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) - I was leading the VGC hype train for Valkyria and it did not disappoint. It was extremely polished, beautifully animated and orchestrated, and was innovative. A breath of fresh air in the SRPG genre.

4. Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II (Cube) - One of my fondest memories are 4 player local coop with this game. It had enormous amount of depth, content, and it tried a lot of new things.

3. Earthbound (SNES) - Another blast from my past. So much creativity and imagination. I still get laughs at all of the quirks that make this such a unique game.

2. Final Fantasy X (PS2) - It's second only to one. Can't wait to continue on in HD remaster.

1. Final Fantasy IX (PS1) - Long live the king! I've replayed this relatively recently and it's still everything I remembered. Can't wait for a remaster or remake.
