While crashing and doing donuts mid circuit the other day in GT Prologue I had a chat with SCEE NZ’s Marketing Manager Dave Hine and Paul Gunn (PR Extraordinaire) about the sales figures for GT Prologue and whether they thought the online would outsell the hard copy on Blu Disc. They expressed their surprise at the popularity of War Hawk as down-loadable software and said that they anticipated GT to receive an even warmer welcome when it comes out later this month.

Also mentioned in the conversation was that the pre-order figures for the SCEE regions show orders already at one million. Making the PS3’s first pre release Platinum title.

You ask how is a demo selling so well, it's because we're starved of GT and can't resist. Naturally PD know this which is why Prologue is released in the first place :P Man I can't wait for the 28th.

I hope it's true and not a mistake or hopeful boasting.

Eitherway, I plan on being an owner across the ocean in America!

And it's not really a demo. I don't know why so many people want to compare it to a 15 minute PSN demo.

Hell, GT5: Prologue is a more complete game than Motorstorm! More tracks, more vehicles, split screen and it sells for $20 LESS! QUIT BITCHING!
