Forums - Sony Discussion - mag less then impressive review

Seeing as how this is a review for a BETA!!1! I wouldn't let it get you down to much. These same people also gave Halo 3 ODST a 6.3

By the logic of some forum members this would actually mean Mag exceeds Halo ODST in every possible aspect

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

i dont trust current reviews
they couldnt possibly have had enough time, if they published their review today, to fully play, and learn the game
also, the servers has just gone up
i'll wait a couple of days, for the reviewers who really took time to play the game

WoW how do you review a game base on beta? shud we also give modnation racer a 4/10 and list of cons are

-only 2 cars
-1 map
-not polished

all in all I played the beta and it didn't felt complete....

There were 4 maps and an unlimited number of karts in ModNation...

So the beta is an average 75 game while the final product is a 95 GOTY candidate? That's the message I'm getting from the people doing MAG damage control.

Maybe in your own world (no offense), but I'd say the general opinion is that the beta doesn't equal the full game, but that doesn't mean the full game is without issues and such. It's a like it or hate it kind of thing.

Dont troll it till u try it.

Anyway, happened to find it at the rental store on the way home today and picked it up for a few nights.

The frame rate feels a little smoother (at least in sabotage) and for the most part, there hasn't been any huge changes and I spent some time playing Sabotage with some great rounds before getting trounced by SVER in the last two (one saw us outnumbered and the other we just lost half way through).

If you play as Raven.... stay AWAY from the starting assault rifle, the Hollis A3, and try to stick with picking up a dead enemy's weapon till you upgrade or start using a different Raven weapon. The ATAC is a much more worthy weapon than the Hollis with a fast rate of fire and good stopping power.

You clearly have poor context comprehension.

Nobody's saying "95 metacritic". Just that to base it on a beta where people are still figuring out what to do is unfair. This game isn't for everyone. Why else would many reviewers hold back their reviews until they play the retail version for a good amount of time to properly pass a judgement?
