For all you guys talking about Soul Sacrifice:

Currently, the COMG top 20 is made up entirely of games which are either sequels or part of pre-existing IP's; or part of popular anime series. Seriously, every single one.

Soul Sacrifice won't open big. It's a new IP. Japan are usually quite slow on new IP's. Usually. It took Monster Hunter 3 games on PSP to really hit the massive sales.

Best we can hope for in SS' case is that it gets good reviews, good word of mouth, and has decent legs for a while.

I hope it will do better than Demon Gaze at least, it would be a shame to do less with all the work to make this game awesome !

Not for Japan. It has no cute mascot. At least MH has the Chacha guy.

I don't see how Soul Sacrifice is aimed at the western market since it is developed in Japan and has been positioned as the main game in Japan whenever there is any kind of promotion for VITA in Japan. 

What was the last Sony title developed in Japan but aimed for western market?
