Lots of PS3s around here. Maybe I should hock em off the back of a truck if selling out is such a widespread problem.

Sony might be doing this on purpose.

They might be making a nice profit on 250GB PS3's, so are holding off stocking the 120's for as long as possible.

I took me 45mins to find one, (60gig died :( ) call all the Bestbuys, Futershops, EBgames, and finally found a 120gig 40km away a few stores had 250gigs but the PS3 was pretty much sold out in the lower mainland.

i go into stores and there are usually 2-3, not plentiful but they do have some

Sony said they will ship 13mil at the end of March, so they should be making a lot of PS3 (~1mil per month) to meet these numbers. Supply and demand should probably be around equal for Q1.

That's funny to me...I just shopped around and found one...can't wait till the sale numbers come in where they finally meet the demand...
