I dunno who   should i order PS3 80GB or the slim 120gb  . I like how the fat looks , but at the same time im worried about the YLOD .  

I did a search in yt and foud that alot of peaople are having problems with YLOD , and they suggest to get a slim insted of fat one .

Is the overheating often   to fat ps3 , and how often dos slim overheats . Thanks

Go for the slim! I personally think it's a sexier box, it's all small and slick looking. It actually makes my RE5 Elite 360 look at big and bulky, which was the opposite when I had my lauch 60gb PS3. Also, bigger hard drive at the same price. The Slim is ultra quiet too, except the disc load slot, it sounds like it's chewing up the disc when it sucks it in.

now ive got the slim, i'm starting to like it more than the original. YLOD mostly affects launch 60gb models, so an 80gb should be alright.

Get the new model, 120 gigs and quite as a mouse.

Older phat models (that has backwards compatible) are the sexiest with the chrome trim.

Newer phat models doesnt have the chrome trim but a sort of dullish silver trim.

Slim PS3 is lighter however.

YLOD occurs randomly but majority heard for the Phat PS3s. Barely any heating issue as long as you place it in an open space.

Either one is good but i'd suggest the slim.

Get the newer model unless there is a reason why you must have the 80Gb other than looks.

I have a PS3 40Gb(w/WD 320Gb) for the record.

Don't call it fat. It's sexy. :) Personally I don't like the slim because the material is too similar to that PS2 matte black with texture.

I would def got with the slim...personally I had the fatter version and would go with the slim...

asthetics over new, I'd go with the sexy black beast. Plus the ylod is not common if you dont play 12 hours straight constantly.
