Older phat models (that has backwards compatible) are the sexiest with the chrome trim.
Newer phat models doesnt have the chrome trim but a sort of dullish silver trim.
Slim PS3 is lighter however.
YLOD occurs randomly but majority heard for the Phat PS3s. Barely any heating issue as long as you place it in an open space.
Either one is good but i'd suggest the slim.
