It is one thing to state  your own sexual preference, another to spread hatred. Now.. if the person had said "I hate all straight people"... then the ban would be justifiable.

My point of view is this: We have evolved from apes, and have gone far beyond what little complexity the reptilian part of our brain allows us to. Roughly put, that reptilian part of our brain represents what you call 'nature', and would have us living like primates if it had its way. But we are better than that.

i do believe in the theory of evolution to some extent but saying we evolved from bacteria can't enter my mind it just isn't common sense.

Well, that's just something you need to get your head around then. What do you believe we evolved from then? Once you are clear with that, ask yourself, what did that evolve from? Rinse and repeat until you get to the first spark of life, the one-celled organism. It's taken billions of years for us to reach the state we're in now, a lot of things can happen in that time.

Of course not, if everything on earth is "common sense", everyone would be an expert and there wouldn't be years of schooling.

 

go look up the DNA similarity between us and other species of animal (yes, even bacteria) and then maybe a course on evolutionary biology, and then you can join back to the conversation

I haven't been on for a long time but i had to jump in on this because this is fun. Actually it is well documented of Homosexuality in the animal Kingdom

i said i have never saw but i didn't say its a fact and btw you know that sex chromosome mutations is probably what leads to homosexuality. e.g. XXY for females or XYX for  males and in some rare case XXYY and XyXX. with XYXX this is extreme homesexuality as two X= more feminine.

so thats like stating its normal for humans to be born with cystic firbrosis when its a genetic disorder which cause a faulty CFTR channel.

It does other things to you.  Like if you have XXY you get Klinefelter's syndrome  or xyy which gives you 47,XYY syndrome which can lead to Down Syndrome. You aren't gay because you have an extra one you get syndromes. You really need to know more.

No...you mis understand what I'm trying to say.  I believe in equal rights, regardless of your sexual orientation, I might have controversial liberal views, but I don't think see what the big deal is over gay union...I can sympathize with the conservative stance of marriage between a man and woman, but I can't with regards to legal rights.  I fully believe your sexual orientation should have no bearing on your opportunities, and your right...I extremely sensitive because of my race to the plight of homosexual and their civil rights.  I don't believe the situations are the same, but I do see some similiarities, discrimination is discrimination.  My point, after my long-winded speech is this...that's not the issue at hand her.  M$ doesn't want the issue of sexuality to have a place in the Xbox Live Experience, and I can't blame them.  WRT to my specific comments, "This is a worthless thread that is nothing more than an opportunity for trolls to populate.", I really don't think most of the people carpetbagging on the issue give a rat's ass for gay rights, they are just using this a venue to attack XBL and M$, because they are patethic individuals who get their willies from doing so.  It's a deservice to gay rights and to all of our patience on this forum.

Wait are you saying every gay person has male and female reproductive organs. Then you are very mistaken what you are looking at is something else. That isn't Homosexuality.
