Forums - Website Topics - We need an option to compare multiple consoles Software in the top 50

Hi. Sorry about the wording in the thread title it is kind of hard to explain in one sentence.

Well i dont know about you but when i check out the top 50 game sales for the Week it can get very frustrating. Not to troll but sometimes i couldnt care less about how the Wii has all the spots in the chart and to see the PS3 games i have to click on the PS3 section. But by doing that all the other Consoles games are emitted from the Sales Charts.

Is the way you can like pick 360 and PS3 games only so you can compare how the multiplats are doing against each other more easily? It is very hard to do that with the Wii and DS taking up most of the places?

PS3/360 software

Wii/PSP software

PS2/DS software

It would be interesting to look at things like that.
However, the one thing that would have to be considered when a multiplatform release was different on each console.
-- This could mean different characters (e.g., Soul Calibur II).
-- This could mean different development houses putting different takes on a game (e.g., NFS: Hot Pursuit II -- the PS2 version was excellent while the Xbox/GC version was not as strong).
-- This could mean completely different games with the same name (e.g., Kool Aid Man on Atari 2600 and Intellivision: (http://www.videogamecritic.net/intelfl.htm and http://www.videogamecritic.net/2600hl.htm)

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

sounds interesting. I hope it happens

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

I agree. This would be nice.

Let me add something similar: It would be great if we could select "new entries", i.e. games with only "week 1" data.

Yeah... just more search options for the charts pages in general.
